Accessibility is part of the guest experience.
CommonGround aims to make its public website usable with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, reduced motion and a range of devices. Accessibility planning for any future physical destination remains separate and subject to site and design confirmation.
Current website measures
- Semantic headings, labels and landmarks on core pages.
- Skip links, visible keyboard focus and reduced-motion support.
- Responsive layouts designed for small screens and text resizing.
- Status and error messages announced to assistive technology on new participation forms.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative images hidden where appropriate.
Known limitations
The interactive sponsorship map is more complex than the standard content pages. It includes keyboard controls and item details, but a complete list-first catalogue and independent assistive-technology review remain required. Some older long-form pages and complex diagrams also need additional mobile and screen-reader testing.
Feedback and accommodation
If content, forms or controls are difficult to use, contact CommonGround with the page, task, device or assistive technology involved and the preferred response format. Do not include passwords, payment information or sensitive documents.
Owner review required: publish a monitored accessibility contact, response target and formal review date.
